  • Weightloss Tips!

    • Boil eggs to go with your breakfast, lunch, and dinner! they're only 75 calories each and taste great!
    • If you must eat at fast food restaurants, always look for the soups and salads! They can only hide so many calories in those.
    • Try to choose Mustard over Ketchup. Ketchup has a lot more sugar in it.
    • When you're feeling hungry but already ate, snack on fruits like cantaloupe, raisins, dried strawberries, etc. They are sweet and filling.
    • Set up a pinterest account and start pinning healthy recipes! It'll be a breeze to grocery shop for good foods :)
    • Drink tea before and after your meals to keep you full.
    • Try adding almond milk or slimfast to your teas and coffee. They boost the taste without messing up your day!
    • Splenda blends better than natural sugar with hot drinks! it's low in calories, too!
    • Eat a pomegranate! You have to work to get the fruit, so by the time you're done, you may be a bit worn out!
    •  Make a smoothie for a healthy snack and sweeten it with honey!
    • Take time to rest and relax each day. Stress can really pack on the pounds
    • A tip to reduce stress: make yourself a bath, light scented candles, and breath deeply for awhile :)
    • The frozen produce aisle has all sorts of smoothie kits that only require you add juice and blend! So easy!
    • Craving chips? Buy fruits and veggies like bananas, zucchini, and squash. There are plenty of recipes that can turn these healthy treats into chip-like snacks!
    • If you find yourself with a bland sandwich for lunch or dinner, heat up some beef or chicken broth and dip your sandwich in it!
    • Broth is low in calories and can add flavor to dull meals.
    • Try dipping veggies in things such as spicy mustard and jalapeno dip.
    • Spicy foods can speed up your metabolism and add flavor to otherwise bland veggies.
    • Carib is a healthier alternative to chocolate. Grocery stores like Whole Foods sell them, and although they have a different flavor then chocolate, they are the same consistency and look identical!
    • Want a healthy snack for your whole week? Make a big pot of vegetable soup on Sunday and it can last all week. Buy veggies like corn, green beans, broccoli, and you can add broth or tomato soup for a filling snack or lunch!
    • Avocado is great for you- if you see it on the menu at a restaurant, try to order it!
    • Make a big pitcher of green tea and add things like honey or splenda, and ice! It'll become your new sweet tea but is much healthier with less sugars.
    • Greek yogurt is very versatile and healthy- it can be used to make honey mustard, OR  frozen yogurt!
    • Blueberries are very beneficial. Try adding them to drinks like lemonade, and snacks like yogurt or muffins.
    • Try to measure yourself rather than weigh yourself. It can show much more accurate results since muscle can be heavy.
    • If you want your accurate weight, weigh yourself first thing in the morning, after you have peed, and with no clothes on!

    Hope these help!

    Good luck!
